Talking to Zeno
What to ask, and what Zeno does with the answer.
Talk to your assistant the way you'd talk to a friend who's good with money. You don't need special words. These are good places to start:
Before you spend
Can we afford a $1,500 trip in March?
Zeno runs the purchase through your forecast and says how it lands: comfortable, tight, or short, and when. It's information, never a block. You decide.
Seeing ahead
How do the next few weeks look?
What if I picked up an extra shift each month?
The first is your forecast with an honest range; the second is a scenario, which explores a change without adopting it.
Your plan
Help me write a monthly plan.
Your Plan is what you intend, and it only changes when you say so, with a reason in your own words. Zeno keeps every version.
Debts
What's the fastest way out of my debts with $600 a month?
Zeno compares every payoff order at the same payment, with the debt-free month and the interest each one costs.
The weekly check-in
Let's do my check-in.
Five minutes: what went well, expected against what happened, keep or change, and one commitment with a backup plan.
Things Zeno notices
If your assistant learns something relevant (a raise, an insurance renewal, a trip), it saves it to Zeno as a proposal, labelled with where it came from. Nothing counts until you confirm it in What Zeno knows.
What Zeno won't do
It never moves money, never pays a bill, and never decides for you. The pressure, when there is any, comes from an accurate forecast, not from rules.
