Muse, Claude & ChatGPT
Bring Zeno into your assistant
Zeno is a connector: your assistant calls it whenever money comes up. Each connection is approved by you, and you can revoke it at any time.
Muse
- Sign in at app.zenonest.com. Under Settings, create a token for Muse. Choose Full access, or View only if Muse should only read. The token is shown once.
- In Muse, say: "Build a custom connector for Zeno at https://api.zenonest.com/mcp."
- When Muse asks for an API key, paste the token into Muse's own secure box, not into the chat.
- Approve the connection when Muse asks. Then say "Let's set up my household in Zeno."
Your bank connects to your assistant, not to Zeno. You link your bank in Muse, under Muse's own terms. Zeno never asks for your bank login, never sees it, and has no bank connection of its own. It only receives what your assistant sends it when you ask. Using Claude or ChatGPT without a bank connection? Zeno works from what you tell your assistant.
Muse asks you each time before Zeno changes your Plan, and you can set how it asks for everything else.

Claude and ChatGPT (new)
- Add a custom connector with the address
https://api.zenonest.com/mcp. In Claude, look under Settings → Connectors. In ChatGPT, add it as a connector in developer mode. - When the assistant asks you to sign in, sign in to Zeno. Choose Full access or View only, then approve.
- The connection appears in Zeno under Settings, where you can revoke it at any time.
Sign-in for Claude and ChatGPT is new. If anything trips you up, tell us.
What your assistant can do
The connector reference lists every tool and whether it reads or writes, and which actions your assistant asks you about first.
